I have a handful of student loans left over from undergrad (3 to be exact), that are collectively down to under $2K and I am so, so tempted to just pay them off in full so that there'll be three fewer loans out there with my name on them. I just got an email from Tripadvisor telling me that it has been a year since I last posted a review there. Which means it's been a year since Turkey/Greece. What a great trip that was. I was in NYC yesterday, and I was really stuck by how much light the city gives off at night (from the Verrazano, driving home at 9:00pm, it was especially evident - like the entire city was under stadium lights), how freaking LOUD it is under the elevated subway lines in Queens when a train goes by, and how nice everybody was.
